Product Overview
Dismiss CA turf herbicide produces visible results against sedges in just 24 to 48 hours, allowing turf professionals in both California and Arizona to experience truly high-speed sedge control. The active ingredient in Dismiss CA – sulfentrazone – attacks weeds on the surface, but also penetrates the soil and prevents sedge tubers from germinating.
Total control of yellow nutsedge and green kyllinga can be attained in about a week with Dismiss CA, and purple nutsedge can be controlled with two applications. Dismiss CA also provides postemergence broadleaf weed activity, so you'll see a reduction in broadleaf weed populations in areas treated for sedges. Dismiss CA herbicide is gentle on your turf and is well tolerated on 13 common turf grasses.
