Product Overview
Phosgard Plus contains both phosphate and phosphite for an immediate and long-lasting phosphorus supply. Phosphate is readily available to plants upon application, while phosphite converts over time to an available form providing a continuous phosphorus supply for optimum growth.
Phosphorus is an essential element in agriculture with many functions. This includes photosynthesis, respiration, protein and nucleic acid synthesis, and nutrient transport through plant cells. While important to growth, the phosphorus in soils is often not enough to meet the needs of growing plants.
By supplying both immediate and slow release forms of phosphorus, Phosgard Plus can supply the necessary amounts of phosphorus to plants for long-lasting nutrition.
