Product Overview

Solutions Polyurethane Foam Gun is a durable and easy-to-use professional applicator foam gun that allows foam to be applied quickly and with total precision.

Solutions Polyurethane Foam Gun, manufactured by Solutions Pest and Lawn, is a lightweight and compact metal foam gun that provides consistent control over every seal, gap, and joint. It ensures that even the most experienced professional or beginner applicator gets the maximum yield out of each polyurethane foam bottle.

This durable metal foam gun features an ergonomic two-finger trigger to ensure effortless control and comfort for long periods during applications. This all-purpose foam application gun also supports a moderately long extrusion pipe to accurately regulate material flow, helping to minimize foam waste.

Solutions Polyurethane Foam Gun provides greater precision for a variety of large —to small-scale treatments, allowing users to access hard-to-reach areas quickly and simply.

Tools Needed

Solutions Polyurethane Foam Gun comes ready to use, and no additional application tools are necessary.

This is the foam gun only. A separate purchase of a foam product will be necessary.

How to Use

  • Step 1: Before applying any foam, ensure the treatment area is clean and clear. Brush away any dust and loose particles, and wipe away grease from the surfaces to be treated. Check the Solutions Polyurethane Foam Gun is ready for use before using it.
  • Step 2: Shake the selected product bottle well and remove the closing cap. To install the foam canister onto the Solutions Polyurethane Foam Gun, hold the gun upside down and screw the canister into the gun adapter. Do this quickly to avoid any leakage and fouling of the adapter. Any foam that may have leaked out must be removed at once with the appropriate cleaner.
  • Step 3: Once the foam canister is connected, hold the Solutions Polyurethane Foam Gun upright and shake it up and down roughly 20 times. Loosen the gun's control knob and begin to apply foam by squeezing the trigger. Adjust the amount of foam to be used by turning the flow regulator wheel (control knob) clockwise to reduce the flow and/or to obtain a thinner layer; turn counterclockwise to increase the flow and/or to get a thicker layer. This regulation is required to obtain a thicker layer. Allow the foam time to expand and cure.
  • Step 4: To substitute the foam can, turn the Solutions Polyurethane Foam Gun upside down, as in picture 1 of the product manual. Push the lever to release any leftover material. To clean the internal foam gun barrel, attach a foam cleaner to the gun adapter and spray until the gun is completely clean. The adapter, the nozzle, and the spray head must always be cleaned with an appropriate foam cleaner to avoid damage and potential foam build-up.

Where to Use

The Solutions Polyurethane Foam Gun may be used to apply foam for pest exclusion on residential and commercial properties. It can be used to apply foam to thin cracks and crevices, such as joints and penetrations, window and door frame installations, and thermal and acoustic insulation.

When to Use

Apply the Solutions Polyurethane Foam Gun when you wish to quickly and accurately fill joints with foam for complete uniform measures against pests, animals, and more.

Pests may invade indoors at any time during the year when conditions outdoors are less conducive to their survival. Your peak pest activity may depend on the local climate and your geographical location.

Safety Information

Solutions Polyurethane Foam Gun is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product manual instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling this professional foam applicator gun and foam products.

The gun must never be aimed at oneself or other people. The foam manufacturers' safety regulations regarding application must be observed.

Special Considerations

The Solutions Polyurethane Foam Gun seals tightly so that once the bottle has been screwed into place, the product contained does not dry up. Clean the gun carefully if you do not expect to use it for some time.

When the viscosity changes, it may be that foam is released from the needle packing adjusting screw. In this case, clean the parts at once of any foam and turn the screw clockwise with a N. 8 spanner. This seals the (P.T.F.E) packing in the gun and prevents the issue of foam. At the same time, also check that the closing needle moves freely, if necessary, by lubricating it where it joins the screw and packing.
